The Young Lawyers Division of The Mississippi Bar is sponsoring the “Bridge the Gap: New Lawyer Program” Part 1 on December 5 from 8:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. at the Oxford Conference Center in Oxford. The Mississippi Commission on Continuing Legal Education requires each newly-licensed lawyer to complete a new lawyer program comprised of a total of 6 hours of basic skills and 6 hours of ethics/professionalism within 2 years of admission. This program, by Young Lawyers for Young Lawyers, is modestly priced at $200 for 6 hours of CLE and features 3 hours of basic skills and 3 hours of ethics/professionalism. All attorneys are welcome to attend these CLEs, regardless of whether they are required to complete a new lawyer program. Registration is open through the Attorney Login page.
